Time to smell the roses

For some of us life is sooooo busy that we forget to take time out. We don't remember the "me" time. It is important to remember this. I was very guilty of being a workaholic for many years. I now make sure I regularly take time out to smell the roses. Although this was originally just an expression I used, there is much more to it now :) One of my Wightbuzz network members is Jo of Blushing Blooms so these days I literally do take time to smell the roses. Jo's shop is not far from where I live.

She really does create some beautiful arrangements and I have the pleasure of delivering them sometimes to the lucky recipient.  

So these days - when I say I am off to smell the roses, there is more to it. It may be roses, sometimes its lillies or other delightful flowers. What a nice way of having a break!!!! I often get a cup of tea while I'm there too!
